We work with many growers who use sustainable farming practices such as conserving water, repurposing land, and recycling waste. These and other efforts preserve natural resources and reduce transportation-related carbon emissions.
Helpful food & product labels.
Our Better Choice shelf tags were created by registered dietitian nutritionists to support our customers’ dietary needs. The tags identify items that have more of the nutrients you need, like fiber, and less of the things you don’t need, like saturated fat, added sodium, or added sugar.
Recycling and repurposing plastic bags.
We believe we can do good together by encouraging customers to use reusable bags and recycle their plastic bags at the green bins located outside our stores. Most local curbside recycling programs don’t accept plastic bags—that’s where we come in. Find out how the plastic bags in our recycling bins are kept out of landfills and used to help make new products like decking and benches.
