Thank you for your support.

Each January, Publix associates and customers join together to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics. You can choose to donate to Special Olympics by purchasing a paper torch for $1, $3, $5, $10, or other amounts at the register. All campaign funds raised will directly support local and statewide athletic programs.

About Special Olympics.

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and competitions in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual disabilities. These continuing opportunities give individuals a chance to develop physical fitness; demonstrate courage; experience joy; and share their gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.

Publix campaign contributions.

In January 2024, our customers and associates contributed more than $5.6 million to Special Olympics to ensure athletes were able to train and compete free of cost. This brings our total donation since 1993 to over $76 million.

The 2024 Special Olympics campaign was held in stores January 12—21.
