Our associates give back.

Publix Serves is our community program where our associates volunteer to help the environment and fight hunger in the eight states where we operate. Launched in 2015, it started as a single day of giving back and has grown into two week-long events held each spring and fall.

Spring: Caring for our planet.

In April 2025, over 7,000 associates volunteered for more than 150 projects primarily focused on the environment, such as water conservation activities, park cleanups, and tree plantings.

Fall: Fighting hunger together.

Our fall Publix Serves program focuses on alleviating hunger. More than 8,000 associates volunteered in September 2025 with local nonprofits dedicated to feeding our neighbors in need.

Publix Serves is more than just volunteering. It’s how we care for our communities, the core value of our philanthropic efforts.
