Every child deserves a strong start.

Each year, we invite customers and associates to donate to the March of Dimes to protect moms and babies and help them get the support and care they need. In 2025, we raised nearly $5.4 million for this amazing organization, earning us the prestigious honor of being their No. 1 corporate partner for the tenth year in a row.

Kevin and his three children.

We’re proud to help support an organization that makes a world of difference to so many families — including our Publix family. Meet Kevin’s children, Eliza, Dax and Evelynn.

Eliza’s story.

At 32 weeks, Eliza was ready to come into the world. Her mom, Haley, went through 48 hours of labor, and she was born weighing 4 pounds, 6 ounces. Eliza was rushed to the NICU, where she needed help breathing and was placed under a ventilated tent.

Eliza fought for five weeks, experiencing repeated drops in her heart rate while relying on a feeding tube.

Dax and Evelynn’s story.

At 34 weeks, after Haley endured constant morning sickness, high blood pressure and preterm contractions, the family learned their twins were arriving early.

Evelynn arrived first, strong and steady. But Dax was in critical condition — his heart rate dropped, and he needed resuscitation. He was also born with a broken collarbone and a collapsed lung. Both babies spent 12 days in the NICU; Dax required chest and feeding tubes, and Evelynn had jaundice.

Today, their story is one of strength and resilience. Thanks to the March of Dimes and its partnership with their local hospital, the family watched fear turn into hope. Today, all three children are healthy and thriving.

Thanks to the March of Dimes and its partnership with their local hospital, Kevin and Haley never lost hope, and Eliza, Dax and Evelynn are all stronger than ever.

The March of Dimes campaign will be held in stores from August 14 to 21, 2026.
